On June 13, 2024, the Academic General Assembly Meeting was held at our Faculty.
The meeting was chaired by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Sevim ÇELİK. During the meeting, the Quality Commission's recommendations regarding areas for improvement based on the Fall Semester Course Evaluation Survey Results for the 2023-2024 Academic Year were reviewed. Information was shared about the measures to be taken within the institution in line with Presidential Circular No. 2024/07 on austerity measures, the processes for assigning personnel to international conferences, material management, and the shared use of equipment and tools procured under various projects. A performance evaluation of our faculty was conducted in relation to our university's specialization area of "Smart Logistics and Integrated Regional Applications," with discussions held on increasing collaboration in projects, publications, research, undergraduate and graduate courses, and partnerships with external stakeholders. Issues faced by our double major students and possible solutions were discussed. Additionally, feedback from students received during the 2023-2024 Academic Year Spring Semester Student Evaluation Meeting was shared, focusing on suggestions for improving the educational processes. The meeting concluded with a general assessment of the Spring Semester, the collection of feedback, and the sharing of plans, expectations, and well-wishes for the Fall Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
