ACCORDING TO THE MINIMUM ECTS REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION:

Compulsory course amount (MIN) 180 ECTS (including Common Compulsory Courses)
Amount of elective courses (MIN) 60 ECTS


A total of 60 ECTS, at least 30 ECTS in each semester, is taken in a year.


Students studying in the Social Work Undergraduate Program can take elective courses from the second semester of their first year. 80% (48 ECTS) of the elective courses must be taken from within the department, and 20% (12 ECTS) can be taken from outside the department if desired.


As part of our undergraduate program, there are compulsory practice courses in the fourth year (seventh and eighth semesters). The application weight of the social work program is 20%. The first years of education cover the general knowledge of the social sciences and the basic practice and theory knowledge of the social work science and profession. In the later stages of the program, research and application activities are carried out in addition to in-depth theoretical knowledge about social work science and profession.
