Nursing Department 2024-2025 Academic Year Spring Semester Beginning Meeting Was Held.

On March 12, 2025, under the presidency of Nursing Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hilal UYSAL, the 2024-2025 Academic Year Spring Semester Beginning of Term Evaluation Meeting was held with nursing department students. At the meeting, important issues regarding the effectiveness of academic processes, student satisfaction and increasing the quality of education were discussed.
On the agenda of the meeting, the efficiency of theoretical courses and hospital/laboratory trainings were evaluated, and suggestions for improvement in these areas were discussed. While suggestions were presented to ensure that students take a more active role in clinical practice, various strategies were shared to make education processes more efficient.
In order to support the professional development of students, it was encouraged to increase participation in scientific and social activities organised at our university. In this context, information was given about student societies, national and international conferences, professional seminars and workshops. In addition, internship, job opportunities and career counselling services offered by the Career Planning Application and Research Centre were introduced in detail to support students in planning their future careers.
In addition, the importance of psychological well-being as well as academic success was emphasised and the activities of the Psychological Counselling and Guidance Application and Research Centre were explained. Students were informed about the counselling services that can help them cope with academic and personal problems they may encounter.
At the end of the meeting, students' opinions on academic processes, clinical practices and general education quality were received and their suggestions were evaluated. The university administration stated that they will continue their efforts to increase student satisfaction and take the necessary steps to improve the quality of education.
It was stated that such meetings, which aim to contribute to the professional and academic development of Nursing Department students, will continue regularly.

  • A Booth Event Was Held in Collaboration with Our Faculty and Bartın Public Health Center Education Unit as Part of the April 1-7 National Cancer Week.

  • “Hand Hygiene Training” Conducted in Collaboration with the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Health Services Vocational School

  • Our University's Vice Rector and our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Sevim ÇELİK, served as the Chief Evaluator within the scope of the 10th Productivity Project Awards organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey.

  • “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Health Care System and Nursing; Opportunities, Threats and Ethical Dilemmas Event” Online Seminar was held at the Faculty of Health Sciences.

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlknur Dolu Appointed as Cultural Safety Officer within the Scope of the International COST Action

  • First Place Oral Presentation Award to Our Faculty Member Dr. Duygu ÖZER from the Department of Nursing

  • Bartın High School Students were informed about our Faculty
