Our Faculty Dean's second meeting with our academic staff was held on May 9, 2024, aiming to strengthen quality processes, ensure governance, and improve educational and research activities. The meeting took place with the Faculty Staff working as lecturers. Chaired by Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Sevim ÇELİK, the meeting was attended by Deputies Dean Dr. Ast. Prof. Elif İŞLEK and Dr. Ast. Prof. Sibel ALTINTAŞ with Faculty Secretary Nazan DEMİR. During the meeting, conducted through a mutual exchange of ideas, emphasis was placed on points to be considered in assignment and permission processes, and feedback was provided collectively and individually within the scope of the extension of job forms. The performance was evaluated based on scientific studies published in the last two years, participation in scientific events, and projects worked on. The excellent work and activities were appreciated, and the issues regarding the areas open to improvement were discussed. In this context, the focus was emphasized on following and implementing new teaching methods and techniques with a student-centered approach, increasing the quality of research and publications, focusing on research that develops patents, utility models, and new methods, guiding students for projects, and ensuring participation in scientific activities. The meeting ended by sharing mutual expectations and good wishes for their next job term.
