Social Work Department 2024-2025 Academic Year Spring Semester End-of-Term Evaluation Meeting Held
The Social Work Department held its end-of-term evaluation meeting for the 2024-2025 academic year's spring semester, bringing together students and faculty members to share experiences regarding theoretical and practical courses, challenges encountered during field practices, and the gains achieved throughout the semester. During the meeting, which included class representatives, information was shared about the Presidential National Internship Program. Positive feedback was received from students in the Social Work Practice class regarding the courses conducted during the spring semester of 2024-2025.
In response to student requests for social activities, ideas were exchanged on organizing events such as picnics and trips. Students were encouraged to participate in Social Work Club activities and to develop club projects. Announcements and reminders were made concerning the Course Evaluation and Academic Advising Evaluation Surveys. A reminder was also provided about volunteer opportunities with the Bartın Probation Directorate, which offers voluntary internship services. The importance of starting to invest in post-graduation plans before reaching the final year was also discussed. The End-of-Term Evaluation Meeting concluded as a productive gathering that boosted students’ motivation for their professional development.
