"Quality and Accreditation in Higher Education" Training was held for the students of the Social Work Department of our Faculty.

In order to improve the quality culture in the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Social Work, on 08.05.2024, on 08.05.2024, Res. Assist. Ece PARLAK ÜNLÜ held a training titled "Quality and Accreditation in Higher Education".

In line with the concepts of quality and accreditation in higher education, the reasons for the need for quality processes and accreditation in higher education and the PDCA Cycle, which forms the building block of the quality process, were mentioned. The functions of the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) were emphasised and information on institutional accreditation and programme accreditation was given. The Health Sciences Education Programmes Evaluation and Accreditation Association (SABAK), which carries out accreditation processes in social work education, and the Evaluation Criteria (education programme, educational outcomes, student and instructor profile, etc.) were explained. The training was finalised by answering the questions of the students and feedbacks.
