Graduates of Our Faculty’s Department of Social Work Took Their First Steps into the Profession at the Oath-Taking Ceremony

The graduation ceremony for the 2025-2026 Academic Year graduates of our Faculty's Social Work Department was proudly held on June 14, 2026. The ceremony, attended by our University's Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cengiz KARAİSMAİLOĞLU, Prof. Dr. Zafer CEYLAN, and Prof. Dr. Yafes YILDIZ, also included our Faculty's academic and administrative staff, graduating students and their families, as well as social work professionals working in various organizations and units in Bartın province: Nuray Kızılçay, Seçil Özek Doğan, Ela Tanır, Coşkun Deniz Çavuş, Çağrı Âdemoğlu, Meyrem Şahin Âdemoğlu, and Pedagog Seyfullah Aydın.

 

The ceremony, which began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the National Anthem, continued with opening speeches by our University's Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cengiz KARAİSMAİLOĞLU, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Elif KARAHAN, and Head of the Social Work Department Prof. Dr. Özge ÖZGÜR.

At the ceremony, Özlem İNKO, who came first in the department, Sıla TAŞKIN, who came second, and Zeynep Selin ÖZDEMİR, who came third, were presented with plaques and certificates of achievement.

All graduating students received congratulatory certificates from protocol members and academic staff. The graduating students took their professional oath by reciting the Social Work Specialist Oath under the guidance of the Head of the Social Work Department, Prof. Dr. Özge ÖZGÜR. The Oath-Taking Ceremony concluded with congratulations to the graduating students and a photo session.
